PBAT

Description

The PBAT, polybutylene adipate terephthalate, is a compostable and biodegradable polymer used mainly in the film process.

One of the most interesting characteristics of this material is the possibility to optain it from both organic and fossil sources. Therefore, the supply of industrial quantities is always guaranteed according to market needs.

It has the following certificates: Vincotte, Ok compost and BPI and FDA.

Some of the most important features and properties of the PBAT are:

Good binding properties;

Good insulator;

High flexibility and resistance;

It can be customized;

It complies with UNI EN 13432: 2002 (relating to packaging) and UNI EN 14995: 2006.
